Desired internship role/discipline

We’ll be placing interns in a role/discipline best aligned with their skills and interests. You’ll be paired with a supervisor of the same discipline to work with and learn from while working in your agency placement. Please review the descriptions below, and then select your first and second choice for your internship role.
Account management
Are you a relationship builder, the trusted person at the center of your friend group who knows how to squash beef? Do you see opportunities for improvement in the world around you? (For example, have you ever persuaded a teacher or boss of something that made class or work better for everyone?) Do you tend to try different tactics to achieve your goal if a plan isn't working, rather than giving up? If this sounds like you, you could be a great account leader!
Art direction/design
Are you most comfortable learning and expressing yourself visually? Do your friends come to you when they need help with a poster, a logo, or their website? Are you able to see things in your surroundings–in nature, your city, fashion, faces–that others don’t seem to see? Are you good at telling a story visually, through a ‘zine, a photo series, or a TikTok? Are you excited by new platforms that allow you to express yourself in new ways? Do you get energy by working with other creative thinkers? Great news! You’re already playing in the world of art and design.
Copy
Does storytelling come naturally to you? Do you find joy in writing poems or bars, or through journaling? Are you always coming up with the perfect caption on Instagram or funny text to lay on your TikToks? Have your friends or family ever asked you to write something for them? Have you ever been so inspired by someone else’s writing that you’ve experimented with their style? Do you like working on creative projects with other people? If you answered “yes” to any of the above, the role of agency copywriter may be a great fit for you.
Strategy
Are you super curious and love getting to the root of problems? Would your friends describe you as a really good listener and someone who doesn’t jump to judge? Are you inspired by creative thinkers–always adding new podcasts, playlists, books, shows, and influencers into your rotation? Are you a thoughtful decision-maker who knows how to persuade people around you to try a new path? If you’re nodding along as you read this, you might really dig strategy!
Production
Do you love being in the center of a project and have what it takes to get it done? Are you someone who tends to stay calm and focused, even when situations around you heat up? Do you get good energy from wearing lots of different hats when you’re working–creating ideas, connecting people, budgeting, coordinating, and leading? Do you love to shoot, edit, or create video content (even if it’s just on your phone)? Are you the person in your friend group who plans projects or events and makes sure people show up and show out for them? If so, you’re already working in production!
